Acapulco H.E.A.T

Acapulco H.E.A.T was a syndicated television series, Hemisphere Emergency Action Team (H.E.A.T), which was a specialist group based in Acapulco Mexico recruited to fight a secret war on terrorists. The TV series however, was short-lived which had the original run in September 28, 1993 till June 5, 1999.

The show primarily started only one season, from 1993-94, but was brought back for a second season in 1996 with almost a new cast. The second season was created for distribution in Europe although also aired in the U.S. in 1998. There were forty eight episodes made between the two seasons.

The series' opening episode was about Hunter Coddington played by Catherine Oxenberg, whose role was a former M16 operative who teams up with a former CIA agent Mike Savage played by Brendan Kelly, forms the H.E.A.T team.

The Acapulco H.E.A.T team is a group of specialist financed by the government and hired to fight against international terrorism. The team operates throughout the Caribbean and around the world through an unusual cover of being the owners and models of a fashion company specializing in beach wear. The show had the glamorous side of sexy women, the beach, and the action behind each episode.

The second season of Acapulco H.E.A.T featured the team being assigned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The only cast members who remained from the first season were Michael Worth and Alison Armitage. The Acapulco H.E.A.T second season was change to the team no longer being funded by the government, but by a private sector.

The original casts of Acapulco H.E.A.T were: Ashley Hunter-Coddington, played by Catherine Oxenberg, as a former British M16 operative, founded the team and is one of the leaders, posing as an undercover photographer for their made-up beachwear agency; Mike Savage, played by Brendan Kelly, as a former CIA agent and co-founder and leader of the team, also posing as another photographer for the agency; Catherine Avery Pascal, played by Alison Armitage, as a sexy ex-burglar and poses as one of the models of the agency; Brett played by Spencer Rochfort, as a handsome young man working undercover for the agency; Krissie Valentine played by Holly Floria, as a sexy computer expert who provides the team with important information for their missions and poses as an undercover model of the agency; Marcos played by Randy Vasquez as a former Mexican cab driver; Tommy Chase played by Michael Worth who was the only other actor to be cast for the second season; Arthur Small played by Graham Heywood as an uptight guy working mostly for logistics of the mission; Claudio played by Fabio as the owner of the hotel where the headquarters of the team was; Mr. Smith played by John Vernon as a character seen only through video link and a government agent who assigns the team of their missions. The cast of the second season of Acapulco H.E.A.T only retained two of the actors from the first season, Alison Armitage and Michael Worth, and added two other characters Nicole Bernard (Lydie Denier) and Joanna Barnes (Christa Sauls).
