Aruba Scuba Diving

Scuba diving in Aruba is such an exciting and interesting adventure to partake. It is in fact one of the most unforgettable experiences you'll ever encounter on your visit to Aruba, and this is due to the fact that Aruba offers a number of great dive sites that boast centuries old ship wrecks, coral reefs, school of colorful fish, and other worth seeing creatures underwater.

There are four types of scuba diving offered in Aruba. The most common is the Aruba scuba reef diving, which is often initiated at dive sites where a number of beautiful reefs can be found, hence the term. Well, the purpose of this Aruba scuba diving type is to bring the scuba diving enthusiasts to places underwater where they will get to see corals of all shapes and sizes, with different colors and hues. This Aruba scuba diving is also offered to bring people to areas where ship wrecks and rock formations dwell. With these great possibilities, it's no wonder that hundreds of experienced divers have dived in and come out of the water with new and interesting underwater stories to tell.

The second type of Aruba scuba diving is the so-called "wall diving". The term "wall" actually refers to a steep plunge of the seabed that goes down underwater for a number of meters. This type of scuba is popular in Aruba as many of the local and tourist divers found it one of the best ways to go diving. Their reasons actually lie on their observations that in this kind of environment, a number of fish live and feed off the wall. Aside from that, many of the scuba divers have found diving to and beyond the walls thrilling. But, since great scenes are highly possible in this kind of adventure, the Aruba scuba wall diving is now offered by several diving groups at a pretty reasonable price. Underwater cameras are also provided for the divers to take and there are some seasons when these cameras are offered for rent, allowing the divers to take great pictures of the wall.

Then there is the so-called "wreck diving". As the name implies, this type of Aruba scuba diving is considered for the people to be able to witness the great ship wrecks lying at the bottom of the sea. This is actually the most popular type of diving in Aruba and many of those who have come to the island for some adventure really don't want to miss this opportunity. The ship wrecks are centuries old and perhaps what's best to know about them is the mystery they hold. You may think what caused them to sink or where was the captain cabin. And, once you're there, you'll also be delighted with the numerous fish in and around the wreck.

Finally, the Aruba scuba diving is sometimes performed at night, the reason that the "night diving" was developed. This type is actually favored for the reason the coral reefs look completely different at night. A feeling of thrill can also be felt, which is more intense than the thrill felt when diving on the wall at daytime.
