Brisbane Australia

Brisbane Australia

The "city of sun days", Brisbane Australia is a subtropical, bright, and relaxed capital of Queensland. Nestled along the banks of the fabulous wide Brisbane River, the city has flourished through the years adding confidence to its appeal. Brisbane Australia is one of those places that one can't truly appreciate until they spend time and get to know the place. However, the city's welcome is always as warm as its climate, and as lush as its Moreton Bay fig trees that provide shade in the summer.

The city is verdant and leafy, with the jacarandas' purple haze playfully competing with the burgundy fire of Poinciana trees. The theme parks found south of the city, on Brisbane-Gold Coast passageway, are not drawbacks but are an excellent way to discover the city's rich character and past. Along the way, why not get to know the locals as well, which will be an easy thing to do, as friendly locals usually create chats with just about anyone.

Brisbane Australia is famous for its wood "Queenslanders", the make up their cottages and homes ideally set high on stubs to grasp the breeze, faceting spacious verandas to shut out the midday sun. Some places in the outer edge have used Queenslanders for trendy cafes, antique shops, and restaurants.

The city center features congenial sand stone buildings constructed beside contemporary glass towers. One can take pleasure in the city's botanic gardens, or chill out in one of the pub beer gardens, or bike along the riverfront trails, or get a different point of view out on the river aboard a CityCat ferry. Catch a glimpse of the bridges that cross the river, the most popular and eye-catching being the Story Bridge, found on the river's Town Reach.

The weekend markets of Brisbane at the Riverside South Banks and Fortitude Valleys as well as the Queen Street Mall, will definitely satisfy shopping lovers. Situated in the southeast bend of the state, Brisbane Australia is edged with the Sunshine Coast and the Brisbane River that beautifully flows into the Moreton Bay, sprinkled with attractive islands to explore. The Moreton Bay's sapphire blue waters put forward plenty of opportunity for great water activities including discovering reefs and stripping the many islands.

To top it all, getting around the city is easy and contemptible with abundant good food, including fabulous seafood, and affordable accommodations, especially in the city's homey and elegant bed and breakfast lodgings.
