They are open seven days a week with the exception of two holidays, Good Friday and Christmas day. The café is set up with outdoor sitting in the beautifully landscaped garden under the shade trees, where you are able to dine and look at the growing strawberries.

The Exotic Jam Factory and Sticky Beaks Restaurant is lying in the township of "Apple Tree Creek'. The home base is located 7 kilometers north of Childers on the Bruce Highway. The locally grown fruits and the fascination of the unusual and exotic combine help the business of the Exotic Jam Factory and Sticky Beaks Restaurant evolve.

The combination of the climate and the countryside are perfect for growing these exotic fruits. The skill of the chef, Max is put to the test. He must try new combinations in order for the connoisseur to try something different. The wood burning pizza oven is the largest attraction for this restaurant. The kitchen is kept busy making gourmet pizzas for the locals and passing traders. Most dietary requirements can be provided for. The climate of this area is perfect for the outdoor dining sitting arrangement. The restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages, so you can bring your own. It works out well since there is a pub next door.

The rose Garden Café – Botanical Gardens is located in Bundaberg, North and the Café-Coffee House is located at the rose Garden Café. At the Café-Coffee House, interesting artifacts, which include posters, paintings, pamphlets and additional information regarding the history of coffee are displayed along with information on their local coffee industry is available.

At stipulated times for the general public, group bookings, and school field trips there are free demonstrations, coffee tasting, and a short informative video along with additional information. Patrons of the café will be offered a full quality coffee bar service including excellent coffee, an array of tea and other light beverages. A light menu is also included, which features freshly made sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Light and healthy diets are also accommodated.

For a unique on the farm experience, you will want to see Mammino Macadamia's and Gourmet Ice-cream. Mammino's specializes in 100% homemade/hand made gourmet ice cream. Just to give you an idea, there are seven different macadamia flavors along with fruit and alcoholic specialties as well as sorbet. These ice creams have won several awards for Mammino's. Mammino's also offer a wide variety of macadamia goodies; some made themselves and some from other sources around Australia. Mammino's will give you histories of the sugar and the macadamia industry. Mammino's want their visitors to have a memorable experience every time they visit.
