Barbados Weather

Sometimes it's a shame how the weather can ruin an otherwise beautiful place. We may no think too much about it, but the weather has a huge influence on one's vacation plans. Picture a sunny day at the beach, and imagine how you will feel when you get rains instead. To avoid having to deal with this problem, make plans ahead of time.

Barbados weather is proudly mild tropical all throughout the year. Because of this, the island has consistently attracted tourists from around the world. The sun genuinely complements the fantastic beaches of Barbados.

Barbados weather includes sunshine of up to 3,000 hours every year, or approximately 8-9 hours every day. It is nicely accompanied by cool trade winds from the northeast, which makes the bright sunny days more tolerable and less hot than the other tropical islands. Temperature in the day is usually around 84 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit or equivalent to 29 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Although Barbados weather is basically sunny, it has its share of rain. However, if rain does make a scene, it is mostly in rapid showers, not heavy downpours. Generally, the rainy seasons fall in both July and October. However, these merely involve passing showers which are all dried up by the sun not long after.

The best time for a visit to the island has obviously a lot to do with the Barbados weather. Also considered as its high season, the months from February till May, or the year's driest months are the most popular travel time. Obviously, this means that accommodations won't come cheap, and beaches are more crowded than usual. However, you won't have to worry about gloomy skies and rain showers.

From June till November are not exactly the best months to visit the island because of Barbados weather. Unless you have a thing for hurricanes, it is advisable to avoid this period. September is the peak month for hurricanes. You may not get a highly-destructive one but the strong breezes and heavier seas can definitely ruin one's time on the beach.

If you're planning on traveling to Barbados but not quite sure what the weather is going to be like during that time, check out the internet so you can be sure that you will have every bit of the tropical experience that the island is so famous for. Otherwise, you might see yourself stuck in your hotel room waiting for the time when the sun will decide to come out again.
