One such course is the PADI Bubblemaker Program. This is an instructional program geared towards kids ages 8-11 years old. This particular course will give them firsthand experience of breathing underwater in the convenience of a pool. This is basically the children's first glimpse of Bermuda scuba diving. Another program is the PADI Seal Team, also for children 8 years old and above, but are too young to join the PADI Junior Scuba Diver. The members of this program are given "aquamissions" to prepare them for a more challenging level of Bermuda scuba diving.

There are basically numerous Bermuda scuba diving schools that one can choose from. There are outfitters and freelance instructors that are ready to take you on the dive of your life. However, if you're not an expert diver, it is best to hook up with those PADI-accredited centers. They'll teach you the basics of Bermuda scuba diving and let you in on a grand tour of what the sea offers down below.

Bermuda scuba diving is open all-year round. Much credit goes to its perfect semi tropical weather. But, the best Bermuda scuba diving months are from May to October, when the temperature is moderate and the sea is most serene. Bermuda scuba diving schools are open daily, unless the weather becomes unpredictable. All scuba diving trips are supervised by licensed dive instructors. Night dives are also an option in Bermuda scuba diving and certifications are available as well.

While it is believed that there are around 300 shipwrecks in Bermuda waters, there are only about 40 that are in the best condition for a dive. These scuba diving sites are mapped out and are displayed in all dive shops. The mapped out wreck sites show which ones are in the shallower parts. These sites are the ones that are popular among snorkelers as well.
