The mystery behind the tragedies that is associated with the Bermuda Triangle continues to elicit different reactions from everyone around the world. The attempts to finally come up with one conclusion have never succeeded. The facts about the Bermuda Triangle, as some claim, have not succeeded in attracting as much attention as the myths. This may be due to the fact that most people would rather hear creepy mystery stories than the ones which are based on logic and science. Well, who can blame them? There really isn't anyone who has been able to give one solid reasonable explanation to it. Like the myths, the possible truths, while they are logical, are merely speculations as well. So let's all hear what the facts about the Bermuda Triangle have to say.

* The Bermuda Triangle as an official name does not maintain an official file according to the U.S. Board of Geographic Names. Does the "Devil's Triangle" have a file though? Just asking. So much for the name.
* The Bermuda Triangle is an imaginary area with the apexes of the triangle as Bermuda, Miami Florida, and San Juan Puerto Rico.
* There are no maps available anywhere that defines the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. There are general area maps however, available through the Distribution Control Department, U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office in Washington, D.C.
* The area of the Bermuda Triangle, basing on the dimensions between the area of the apexes of the triangle is approximately 500,000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean.
* The Gulf Stream influences the currents throughout the Bermuda Triangle.
* Most of the ships and aircrafts lost were not even anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle.
* The Bermuda Triangle is not actually a triangle, and does not even have a definite shape and official boundary.
* The Bermuda Triangle is both windy and sunny and has a temperature ranging from 60-100 degrees.
* The winds in the Bermuda Triangle are usually around 10 miles per hour.
* There has been no known proof that the Bermuda Triangle has sucked in the supposed 66 airplanes and ships.
