May to November
The dry season of Fiji weather commences in May and lasts through November. In these months, most of the districts in this tropical country have temperate climates. When the sun sets, there is profuse coolness around the surroundings. For those who live in the mountains, a jumper is regarded essential in the late evenings up to the early mornings. In the middle of July, majority of this Southern Pacific republic are greeted by rains.

For excursionists planning to hop in the island at these periods, they will surely find dusty towns, brown hills and dry rivers due to the kind of Fiji weather. Although, when their destination is towards the eastern coast specifically in Suva which is around Taveuni and Savusavu, the clouds seemingly stick over the highest points for a stretch of a week.
