If you only have a short time to explore the park, you can just opt to go up and then come back to the canyon on board the Grand Canyon Railroad in a single day, but still have enough time to spend at the South Rim.
Five service classes are offered by the Grand Canyon Railroad, ranging from the most expensive to the cheapest one. The Parlor Car undeniably provides the best service. It lets you seat in comfy club chair, provides snacks and car attendant, and has an open-air platform at the back.
The Dome Car of the Grand Canyon Railroad offers the greatest views of the canyon seen through dome windows in first-class train cars. The First Class provides guests with huge windows for a wider view of the park scenes.
The Club Class will take visitors on a historical journey aboard the 1923 Pullman train car furnished with a full-stocked bar. Yet another historical ride is provided by the Coach Class which seats the visitors in identical 1923 Pullman train cars.
Guests who have the luxury of being able to spend more time at the park will want to sign up for the various packages, all of which are inclusive of meals, lodging, and transportation. However, advance bookings are advised to make sure that you will be able to experience the Grand Canyon Railroad on your scheduled dates of visit.
