I don't know how many George's there are in Greece, and just how many of them drive taxi. But there's this one George who is considered the most famous taxi driver in all of Athens.

Flying is undeniably the easiest and fastest way to go to Greece. And I don't mean using the broomstick or Aladdin's magic carpet, because, there are a lot of Greece airlines that offer trips in and out of the country.

With the numerous Greece airlines available, traveling by air is not as expensive as it used to be. There are even discounted tickets in every flight if you know how and where to look. Almost all airline companies allow tourists to book online. Those who do are even offered discounts. This is definitely good news to those who travel often. The sad thing about this is it is putting some small-scale travel agencies out of business.

If you want to avail of cheap flights from Greece airlines, the number one rule is to book early. Airline companies divide their flight rates into several groups. The cheapest tickets probably comprise about 20 seats of the flight. Another twenty for the more expensive, and the most expensive probably make up the remaining seats. The most inexpensive fares are the ones sold first, then the second rates, and so on. So don't be surprised if you're seated beside someone who paid twice as much as you did.

As with other airlines, Greece airlines generally have lower fares during off-peak season. If you're tight on the budget, or if you like to have more spending money while in Greece, don't fly there along with the flock of tourists. Not only are hotels very expensive around that time, but Greece airlines rarely give out discounts. Airline companies would rather charge less to have more people onboard, rather than charge and deal with an almost empty flight.

There are a lot of airline companies offering flights to and from Greece. But there are two major Greece airlines available: the Aegean Airlines and the Olympic Airways. The other airline companies handling flights as well are so plenty, it will make your head spin.

No matter how much money you spend on a flight from amongst the Greece airlines present, the overall flight experience is basically the same. Well, maybe except for those seated in the first class area. But of you're seated next to someone who paid so much less than what you paid for, wouldn't it break your heart to be cooped up in the same kind of seat, and eating the same type of airplane food as he is?
