Golf In Spain

The equal distribution of 365 days of sunshine is only one of the many reasons why playing golf in Spain is remarkable. It means that you can freely walk on the manicured lawn with the rays kissing your skin. Does it sound very much ideal? Actually, you can turn it into reality as you choose to head to any of the destinations such as Costa Tropical, Costa Almeria, Costa Calida, Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, Costa Dorada and Costa Brava.

Costa Tropical is home to resorts like Almunecar, Motril, Salobrena and La Herradura where you will definitely have a grand when it comes to golf in Spain. A rich stretch of coastline, the region takes pride of its best weather conditions as well as the available amenities and facilities around.

Aside from Almunecar, Motril, Salobrena and La Herradura, Costa Tropical also has Club de Golf Los Moricos and Granada Club de Golf. Club de Golf Los Moricos is close to the continent of Africa as it is positioned on the Mediterranean. Granada Club de Golf has a panoramic vista of Sierra Nevada.

Costa del Sol is the site of San Roque, Sotogrande, Estepona, Ronda, Marbella, Calahonda, Coin, Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Antequera, Malaga, Nerja and San Pedro where you together with your buddies can linger for golf in Spain. Extending up to 160 kilometers, the region stretches to the west and east to the southern town of Malaga.

Apart from San Roque, Sotogrande, Estepona, Ronda, Marbella, Calahonda, Coin, Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Antequera, Malaga, Nerja, Costa del Sol is also the location of Real Club de Golf and Club de Golf Valderama. Real Club de Golf owes much to designer Robert Trent Jones. Club de Golf Valderama is an estate acquired by Jaime Ortiz Patiño.

Costa Brava is where courses such as Lloret de Mar, Barcelona, Girona, Blanes and Sant Feliu de Guixols can be found for a fantastic experience of golf in Spain. If you are searching for utter tranquility, this region perfectly offers that peace from the countryside. On another note, you can also have a banquet over its local dishes.

Not only are the likes of Lloret de Mar, Barcelona, Girona, Blanes and Sant Feliu de Guixols belong to Costa Brava. Other spots to be visited are Club de Golf D' Aro, Emporada Golf Club and Golf Playa de Pals. Club de Golf D' Aro is ranked among the top three in the whole of Europe. Emporada Golf Club takes on an American flair. Golf Playa de Pals was the former venue of the Spanish Open and Catalan Open.
