It was the political vision of a devoted mother, devout Christian and dedicated wife that led a single person to be known over the entire globe until this very juncture. It was her fascination of the Native Americans where she agreed to finance the expedition of a man whose real identity still remains to be debatable.

Any male individual would not desire for Queen Isabella of Spain as a partner in life. Aside from the very fact that at a tender age of three, together with her younger brother, Alfonso, they were foreseen as rightful heirs to the throne that their father, John II, would soon relinquish. She naturally had blue eyes that perfectly matched with her chestnut hair. When she turned eighteen, she was captivated with jewelries and garbed on gowns. At that instance, even if she was not yet wearing the crown, she was living what a genuine aristocrat was.

For more than three decades, Queen Isabella of Spain was fighting a civil war in order to secure her kingdom. When she accepted the hand of Ferdinand II of Aragon in marriage, it was the advent of a thirty- five year mutual control of a united nation under the administration of Catholic Monarchs. However, she also had her own share of sweet memories such as Charles becoming the Holy Roman Emperor and Catherine wed Henry VIII of England.

Even when she was already thirty- five years old, it did not stop her from learning Latin, which is now, by the way, identified as a dead language. It was all the more evident when she negotiated with scholars to put up schools in the courts of the palace. All throughout her days, she might have been a dreamer but what made her set apart is, her aspirations were realized because she actively initiated.
