Spain sports are varied and numerous. The Spanish people are known for being active and fond of recreation. Below are a few of the more popular Spain sports:

Hunting

As one of the main activities in Spain, game hunting is a type of Spain sports that Spaniards frequently indulge in. For the best hunting experiences, Spain is the place to go. It is only in this particular form of Spain sports that you can thoroughly experience and enjoy the natural beauty of the Spanish countryside and wilderness.

Hunting can take you from the central plains to the coastal areas, from the Mediterranean shores to the green northern highlands, from the timidly upstate and starkly beautiful Cantabrian to the towering Pyrenean Mountains - everywhere.

There are two kinds of hunting in Spain - small game and big game. The games include Ibex, Mouflan, Chamois, Roe Deer, Red Deer, Fallow, and Boar.

Skiing

Skiing is a popular Spain sports during the winter season. Experience this cold season Spain sports in well-known ski resorts and accommodations in such provinces as Cantabria, Asturias, and Galicia.

Soccer

Among the most popular Spain sports is, hands down, definitely soccer. The premier Spanish soccer league is the Golden League. The play season lasts for 42 days, during which period the team players travel all around Spain in order to play other teams. The season is actually divided into two parts, 22 games played for each half.

Everyday during the play season, about 8 to 12 games are played. After each game, the scores are tallied up and put into a table. At the end of the season, the teams are ranked according to the number of wins they have compared to the number of losses.

Currently, the leading soccer team according to the Spanish National Ranking is Real Madrid with 52 points - 22 games, 15 wins, 7 draws, and 0 lost. Next is Barcelona with 47 points - 14 wins, 5 draws, and 3 lost. They are then followed by Real Betis Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Deportiva la Coruna, Atletic Madrid, and the rest of the other teams.
