St. John, Virgin Island is the whole package for a dream vacation.

Time comes when we feel bored with our lives. Everyday becomes a routine; work, home, sleep and in the morning work again. Don't you want to get away to relax and unwind? A day away from work, a spa or even a massage will never be enough. If you want to get away from the things that make you feel older and bored. Plan a vacation! Not just a plain vacation. Make it as worthwhile as possible. Places where you can enjoy the sun, white sand beaches, and crystal blue waters at the same time experience the beauty of nature. There's only one place where you are guaranteed to have all these- St. John, Virgin Island in the Caribbean.

St. John, Virgin Island is the smallest among the three US Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea. It is 4 miles east of St. Thomas. Since there are no airports in the island, the only access to it is by boat. There are ferry services from St. Thomas which operates hourly and daily from Tortola, the largest and most populated of the British Virgin Islands, a group of islands which form part of the archipelago of the Virgin Islands; among other available regular ferries are form Virgin Goda, Jost Van Dykeand Anegeda (all of which are British Virgin Islands). Cruz Bay on the west coast of the St. John serves as the principal port of the island.

Approximately 2/3 of St. John, Virgin Island is National Park, which only mean that most of the parts of the island is undeveloped. You will found out how amazing it is to witness the way nature takes care of itself.

Some of the most famous beaches in the Caribbean are located along the north shore of St. John, Virgin Island. One of the most well-known beaches is Trunk Bay, which hailed to be one of the "Ten Best Beaches in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler magazine and has received similar recognition from other publications, as well. Just recently, St. John was named "Best Caribbean Destination" by Caribbean Travel Magazine. Since the beautiful beaches are on Natural Park land and not owned by any hotels or resorts, they are all open to the public. One example is the Caneel Bay resort located on the north shore, of which lies Rockefeller's former personal estate. Most of the remaining coastal land in north and eastshore is private property and houses many secluded private villas and cottages. But that's not all there is, the National Park Service also offers two campgrounds on the island's beaches and these are Maho Bay and Cinamon Bay.

St. John, Virgin Island is definitely not a boring place to have a vacation. Its beaches are very popular for their snorkeling, making them known for cruise ship destination. In Cruz Bay there are gifts shops, well stocked grocery stores, dice centers and jeep rental services. Once you visited Cruz Bay, you will know why the natives call it the Love City.
